BNI meetings are very structured. You first mingle till around 7:15 am. We then go around and do our 60 seconds speeches starting with the ten minute speaker of the day. We then have our 10 minute speaker discuss their business and then lead into our referral section of the meeting. We then go around with all of the referrals that each member has for the group that day. This is the most important part of the meeting. The whole purpose of the meeting is to get and give business to other BNI members. We finish the meeting around 8:30 and some members talk more with each other about business ideas or just have friendly conversation. When we are not in our BNI meetings we get together and do one on one meetings with one another. This allows us to know precisely what each of us to and spend more time on getting to know each others businesses. In a nutshell this is pretty much what we do. The sole purpose of getting more business for one another. It works.
